Getting married at the Surf Hotel in Buena Vista Colorado is a fantastic decision.  Brittany and Eric decided to get married at the Surf Hotel in the Spring and brave the chances of rain or snow.  They really lucked out and we had a beautiful 52 degree sunny day.  

You can rent an air bnb next door to the surf for your getting ready, it has a gorgeous tower at the top with 360 degree windows and fireplaces throughout.  There are plenty of group gathering rooms and rooms for hair and makeup as well.  

There are so many beautiful spots to have a first look and portraits along the Arkansas River, just steps from the surf hotel.  You can get river, bridge, and mountains!  Both the inside and outside of the Surf Hotel are gorgeous and lend themselves to the best pictures, I highly recommend using the Surf Hotel as a background for your images.  

The Surf Hotel has a lot of different locations you can utilize for your ceremony.  This ceremony was in their courtyard next to the Ivy Ballroom.  You can also use the Surf Chateau Courtyard, the lawn, and there is a sandy beach area as well. You can customize it depending on how many guests you are having.

The Ivy Ballroom is beautiful beyond words and perfect for your reception space.  It has gorgeous natural light, high ceilings, chandeliers and there is a lighting professional for toasts and dancing that really elevate the party.

Again, just steps from the Surf you have access to the Arkansas River and the River walkway for portraits, it’s perfect for golden hour portraits.
