Any wedding at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek is a great wedding but this one is really special.

Katie and I met so so so very long ago when I was just barely starting my business. She is such a sweet soul and when I got asked to photograph her wedding so many years later, I was beside myself with joy. Little did I know it was going to be a drop-dead gorgeous event with some of the rawest and most real emotions I have yet to experience.

I instantly loved Kevin and watching him love Katie makes my heart soar. His vows had me crying (for real) behind my camera. You can hear some of the vows in the ceremony video below.

And can we just talk about the dress for a moment?!?! They picked this dress up from an Israeli designer and I have never seen such exquisite beading. Katie looked flawless in the dress. I just love this wedding day so I probably posted a few too many pics.

As always the day started out with some crazy weather and we had to move the ceremony into the backup tent instead of having it on the bridge. We were so thankful for the sun later in the day, and a wonderful celebration was had by all.

If there is one common thread between all my posts it seems to be crazy weather. I think you can safely say that if you are going to get married in Colorado, you better come prepared with a great attitude for some sort of weather.
