So, as I type all these blog posts out I’m starting to realize that each one of my couples holds such a special place in my life and in my heart. So many of my friends have trusted me to photograph their weddings and it means the world to me. This Downtown Denver Coohills Wedding is no different.
This wedding is no different. Diane and I were roommates for years and grew to love each other a lot. I am so excited that she has found this incredible guy and the life that she looked forward to.
As always with the weather, this day was no different. It was the year of fires and that’s why all of the images have an orange glow about them. Again, it was literally raining ash at the wedding ceremony.
Diane and Brent ran all over downtown with me, walking along the Platte with their dog as we pleasantly got yelled at by bikers, even though we weren’t on the path. I love their sense of adventure and willingness. Their pup Sieve is the sweetest and was so cooperative.
My favorite part of the day is that Diane is a gardener and has her own small garden business. She grew and potted all the plants that were on the patio and at the ceremony. It really added her own touch to the wedding and made it so unique.
All my love on your new marriage friends.
